Lying-in-state queue enters its final day as mourners wait for one last chance to see the Queen 🔴 The line expected to be cut short later today to avoid disappointment

The accessible queue for the lying-in-state, which spanned from Tate Britain to Westminster Hall, closed for good on Saturday night after all timed entry slots were snapped up.

At 8pm, the country will observe a one-minute silence to remember the Queen, with people invited to mark the occasion privately, on their doorstep or street, or at community events and vigils. People will be able to see the Queen’s coffin lying-in-state in Westminster Hall until 6.30 am Monday morning

Meanwhile, some people have already set up tents around The Mall at Buckingham Palace in the hope of catcing the Queen’s funeral procession on Monday morning, the BBC is reporting., the coffin will be placed on the state gun carriage where the procession will pass Parliament Street, Whitehall, Horse Guards, the Mall, Queen’s Gardens, Constitution Hill, and head towards Wellington Arch. From there the coffin will head to Windsor.

Leaders from around the world have arrived for the event in London, including U.S president Joe Biden who touched down overnight. Over 500 heads of state and foreign dignitaries have been invited.
