The commissioners have been ordered to return certain fiscal functions and four employees to the elected controller.
John Beauge | Special to PennLiveA judge for the second time has found the Lycoming County commissioners usurped their authority in transferring functions and four employees from the elected controller.

Leete in a just-issued opinion ruled the commissioners’ actions “were improper and in derogation of various provisions of the County Code.” He ordered them to “forthwith” return all ledgers, accounts, payroll and related documents along with the employees to Controller Krista B. Rogers.
