Russell Taylor from Kinross saw the flames after flying in to Luton Airport from Edinburgh and said the 'speed in which the fire took hold was incredible'.
A multi-storey car park at Luton Airport has collapsed after a huge fire erupted on Tuesday evening, with hundreds of cars thought to have been destroyed in the blaze.
Russell Taylor, 41, an account director from Kinross, saw the flames after flying in to Luton Airport from Edinburgh. He told the PA news agency: "There were a couple of fire engines with a car ablaze on the upper floor of the car park at just after 9pm. A brigade spokesman said: "One half of the structure is fully involved in fire and the building has suffered a significant structural collapse.
