The convention will culminate into the National Dialogue which will be held throughout the country.
The chairperson of the Chief Albert Luthuli Foundation has decried the organisation of the National Convention, saying the ANC is using it to canvass votes in next year’s local government elections.
It is one of many other foundations that have withdrawn from the convention, which is taking place on the UNISA main campus in Pretoria., which will be held throughout the country. The foundation’s chairperson, Mthunzi Luthuli says, “All we are doing is to pretend to people that we are doing something when we are not doing anything meaningful, then it only amounts to a show, what I call political theatre, to pretend that we are doing something meaningful when we are not. This is what the government is doing.
