From the pop-grunge punch in her debut EP to the sultry sound of her latest tunes Lucia and The Best Boys has been a continuous joy of hope and authenticity in Glasgow'sThe solo project of the city's very own Lucia Fairfull, has served a phenomenon of genre-bending, sensual lyrics and intoxicating instruments for several years.
"We've not played a festival since last year and since that time we've recorded the upcoming debut album. The singer, who 'loves a trip to Glasgow's Chinaski's and The Pot Still', as well as an 'old man' pub here and there, will be playing the King Tut'sFrom new tunes to old bangers, everyone will have the opportunity to sing, dance and have their hearts 'mended'."We do try to keep festival sets a bit more on the uplifting side, but we can try and help mend broken hearts as well.
This 'new side' will be expressed in Lucia and The Best Boy's debut album, 'Burning Castles', which is coming to ears everywhere on September 29.
