The first New Year\u0027s Day Levee in three years is set to go at Government House, hosted by Lt.\u002DGov. Salma Lakhani.

The levee, which is free and open to the public, takes place Sunday from noon to 3:00 pm at Government House, 12845 102 Ave. Guests can tour the historic building and get their picture taken with the lieutenant-governor. There will also be holiday treats and music, along with an opportunity to write postcards to Canadian soldiers serving overseas.

The lieutenant-governor’s office had recommended that guests book free tickets online to assist planning for the event.
