Vicky Eatrides aims to make the regulator work better and faster for Canadians
Unfortunately, Ms. Eatrides is inheriting a commission that is widely seen as slow to make decisions.
A final draft is expected in early 2023, but Ms. Eatrides says the CRTC is already working with the directives in mind. In his last public speaking engagement as CRTC chair last fall, Mr. Scott acknowledged that the marketplace has evolved since the policy was developed in a way that wasn’t fully anticipated. Ms. Eatrides agrees.
