It was a family affair at LoveShackFancy’s launch event last night, which celebrated the brand’s first footwear collaboration with Superga.
, includes two styles for women and girls; the Italian sneaker brand’s classic silhouettes are done up in the ditzy, vintage-inspired eyelets and florals LoveShackFancy has become known for, and in lieu of traditional laces are dainty ribbons and strips of lace.brought along her mother and daughter, and both were, of course, sporting kicks from the collaboration.
“I’m reliving my childhood dreams,” Cohen explained of the fairy-tale evening she created—she even brought in her own antique iron furniture for a personal touch. Inspired by Cohen’s favorite French beachside getaway, Cinquante-Cinq, the evening transported guests from bustling Soho to breezy St. Tropez.
“I’m a high-heels girl at heart, but I have a soft spot for my vintage white Supergas,” Cohen confessed. “When I’m out in a beach town, I wear my heels and then change into my Supergas later on in the evening to dance all night.”
