Love Island's Tyrique 'gutted' over final result and left 'blindsided' to come third place
Last night's Love Island finale was the definition of a nail-biter, with fans unsure which couple would be bagging this year's top spot and walking away with £50,000.
And today, body language expert Darren Stanton reveals his belief that Tyrique was "blind-sided" at having landed in neither of the top spots, after "masking his true" emotions. "As Tyrique read out his speech to Ella, he appeared nervous as he almost shouted his way through it. His emotions were clearly running high and there was a lot of nervousness.
Many viewers took to Twitter to voice their opinions, as one wrote: "Boycott #loveIsland next year!!! Show is a fix!!! Ella fans!! Whitney fans!!! Tyrique fans boycott this show!!! They don't want us to win!!! So don't watch it anymore!!!"But the voting figures have now been revealed, and they prove that Jess and Sammy really were the public's favourite, as they got 34.57% of the whole vote.
