Tommy Fury has been forced to break his silence following huge controversy over his weight ahead of his fight with Paul Bamba in Dubai, which has now been cancelled.
But Bamba was left furious after he met the 175lb light-heavyweight limit while Fury came in at 181.4lb, meaning that he had just hours to lose nearly seven pounds. "The weight on my contract I made yesterday, so as far as I'm concerned I've done my job. I made weight."I'm here in Dubai, I've got a new opponent and I'm ready to go, so I'll see you tonight."Speaking to The Sun in Dubai, Bamba said: "It came down to the final minutes, John Fury reached out to me personally.
"We started talking, man to man in person, and John is very polite, he's trying to make it work. He understands his side but he sees why I'm being the way I'm being and sticking to my guns."
