She is 'really, really single'
Maya Jama has revealed that she is "really, really single" after rumours were circulating that she was back with her ex-boyfriend Stormzy.
Maya was once-upon-a-time one half of the biggest power couple in the UK – having dated rapper Stormzy for four years.They largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight and broke up in 2019. She also told the paper that she didn’t want her relationship overlooking her career. She said that being a woman in the spotlight means that more people are interested in your love life than they are a man’s, which didn’t sit right with her.
Speaking to the Sunday Times this week, she said: “I’m really, really single right now. Newly single. It’s only been a month but it’s nice.”
