LoveIsland's Gemma Owen and Luca Bish's statements in full as they split
The pair met in the Love Island villa over the summer and became boyfriend and girlfriend shortly after the show ended - where Luca, 23, pulled out all the stops to make things official with Gemma, 19.
Gemma went on: "Many of you have been on this journey with us from the beginning, and I wanted to thank you for your continued support as we start our new chapters." The star went on to say he would have liked "some time" to process the decision "privately" after he and Gemma mutually chose to go their "separate ways" earlier in the day.
