LoveIsland responds to Andrew Le Page Sainsbury's tweets
Love Island had a hilarious response to the claims new contestant Andrew Le Page, 27, a real estate agent, looked like the perpetrator who allegedly "stole" a woman's daughter's handbag in a Sainsbury's in unfounded claims.
The tweets continued as another Twitter user commented they thought Andrew looked familiar, wondering if they'd seen him somewhere else before. Memes with Andrew's head superimposed onto random Sainsbury's shoppers started to emerge, but it was only when former Love Island winner Amber Gill, 24, commented on the hilarious story that bosses themselves waded in.
One Love Island sleuth scrolled back through Andrew's social media to eventually discover that the new reality TV star had actually been away in sun-soaked Dubai on the day in question.
