Love Island fans are adamant ITV producers had a part to play in Sammy choosing Amber
Love Island fans are certain the show’s producers had a hand in Sammy choosing to couple up with Amber Wise.
Another couple hit was Sammy Root and Jess Harding, who have been on-off while in the villa. Sammy chose newcomer Amber, the 19 year old daughter of former Chelsea and Wimbledon footballer Dennis Wise, while Jess returned from Casa single. One wrote on Twitter: “I feel like production had a hand in making sure Dennis Wise's daughter got her 5 mins of fame in the main villa idk, probably wasn't Sammy's choice.” Another added: Sammy is going to get back with Jess. They just had to get Dennis Wise’s daughter in the Villa.”Meanwhile, others joked that Dennis Wise - who was known for his aggressive, no nonsense style of football - may have had a part to play.
Before her villa entrance, graphic design student Amber, from Buckinghamshire, revealed she was "really excited to meet the boys" - with one standing out.
