Louise Thompson has said she doesn't feel mentally strong enough to carry a child again after suffering major complications following the birth of her son Leo.

She said: 'I will never be mentally strong enough to carry another child, I have Asherman's syndrome where my uterus is glued together. More than two years after the birth of her son, Louise said she feels '95 per cent' back to her old self as she admitted: 'I genuinely feel lucky to come out the other side.'

Louise also touched on her experience with post traumatic dress disorder and how she and Ryan both suffered from different forms of it. Following a traumatic health battle, the actress is flourishing into her 'new self' as she looks forward to the upcoming launch of her book Lucky. Louise referred to an empowering post she shared earlier in the day about a photoshoot for her book cover, explaining it was her first shoot in four years

In a very candid confession, the star opened up about the real state of her mental health, explaining: 'These images are particularly special to me because they represent a particularly sensitive moment in time. 'In a way it signified the end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one. One where I was able to function as me again. But a new me. A me with a new perspective.

'The new me has found peace with looking asymmetric and wonderfully imperfect with lots of smile likes because I am a whole human!! I have lived through and overcome a lot. I have certainly earned those deep lines. In the clip Louise is seen with her son Leo, two, as she got ready for her shoot.Louise shared the news of having a stoma bag fitted with her Instagram followers in early April, as she bravely admitted it is 'not something she wanted to hide forever'.
