Police quickly sealed off the area and the road currently remains closed with drivers advised to find alternative routes. Pictures shared with the Record showed the lorry turned on its side with officers seen making enquiries at the scene.At 1.03pm on Friday a Traffic Scotland spokesperson said: "A78 - Monktonhead Roundabout. Road CLOSED due to an overturned HGV. Emergency services are at scene Road users are advised to find alternative routes at this time.
