Loose Women star Ruth Langsford has provided a health update for viewers after she missed the lunchtime ITV chat show for a third day. The television presenter is recovering at home after being struck down with "the lurgy".
Ruth finished off her health update with a sweet snap of her dog Maggie snuggled up in bed and added: "My sick bed companion!" She added: "VEG I USED: Softened onions, carrots, celery & garlic in some olive oil then added chopped courgettes, broccoli, small packet of frozen cauliflower rice potato to thicken & frozen peas. Added the bone broth Simmered until veg was soft then added some cooked chicken & fresh spinach #soup."
