Government's and business' partnership aimed at addressing the country's ongoing logistics crisis has made progress, with truck lines along the N4 towards Mozambique's Maputo Port decreasing by around 23km in a matter of months.

At the peak of the logistics crisis, rail inefficiencies were estimated to be costing the economy some R1 billion per day, while port inefficiencies cost some R200 million per day.
