Nearing the end of the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic, in December 2020, lobby group Sakeliga requested information relating to the lockdown regulations and directives promulgated under the Disaster Management Act .
The request was made in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act and sought to obtain"all records, reports, findings, deliberations, communications, memoranda and/or further documentation" relied upon by Dlamini-Zuma in making decisions relating to the regulations.
