Locals became concerned about a heavy smell of smoke
999 crews rushed to Park Drive in the city's Woodlands at around 2am on Wednesday after locals became concerned about the smoke.The blaze was extinguished and no one was injured.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 2.01am on Wednesday, 1 February to reports of heavy smell of smoke near Park Drive, Glasgow. "Operations Control mobilised three appliances and one aerial appliance to the scene where a fire was affecting two shipping containers.“There were no reported casualties.”
Cops confirmed that they were called to the incident and that an investigation has been launched in the aftermath.spokesperson said:"Around 2am on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, police received a report of a fire in Park Drive, Glasgow.
