Organizers say they've sold over 8,000 passes and buttons on Day 3 of the Bon Soo Winter Carnival, which is the highest they've seen in over 15 years
Milder conditions on Sunday mean good news for all the families heading outside to enjoy Day 3 of the Bon Soo Winter Carnival.
By noon, Clergue Park had filled up with dozens of locals who enjoyed various activities like skating, snowshoeing, CrokiCurl, maple taffy making, and sculpture viewing. Bon Soo organizer and special events coordinator Josh Ingram says button purchases are the highest they’ve seen in over 15 years. “We’ve sold over 8,000 passes – it’s crazy,” he says. “We were cautiously optimistic that we would sell between 2,000 and 4,000. They’ve been going like crazy.”Ingram says tickets are still available for one of their most highly anticipated events -- The Sentimentalists -- on Feb. 10 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Machine Shop. For a full schedule of events, visit here.
