It’s a privilege to achieve this commercial and technical landmark with Canada’s largest retailer,” Narang said.In 2021, Walmart launched its first autonomous delivery in the U.S. in partnership with Gatik.
A three-month third-party safety review commissioned by Loblaw also took place, in which Gatik’s autonomous technology was endorsed, according to the statement. “The assessment included sending degraded/incorrect sensor data, GPS jamming/spoofing, incorrect acceleration with objects in front, etc.,” it reads.
