Eskom’s latest power alert announces that loadshedding will be suspended from midnight until 4pm on Monday afternoon. However, before we get there, the country can expect the implementation of stage 4 loadshedding from 4pm today until midnight.

Thereafter, loadshedding will be reduced to stage 3 from 4pm until midnight on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This comes as a result of continued improvement in available generation capacity due to three units previously on outage being returned to service.Cape Town-based app EskomSePush’s notification says loadshedding will be suspended from midnight until 4pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, however, this is not definitively stated in Eskom’s power alert – but we hope, nonetheless.Take a look:
