Umzimkhulu district municipality mayor and former ANC deputy secretary in KZN Mluleki Ndobe was arrested on Sunday morning in connection with the murder of former ANCYL secretary general Sindiso Magaqa. Magaqa died in September 2017 from his injuries after being shot two months earlier. His friends claim his death is related to his intention to expose corruption regarding the refurbishment of the Umzimkhulu Memorial Hall.
