The song was released on 10 June but was criticised for its use of a derogatory term for the condition spastic cerebral palsy - the most common type of cerebral palsy. Writing on social media, the American singer said:"It's been brought to my attention that there is a harmful word in my new song 'GRRRLS'."As a fat black woman in America, I've had many hurtful words used against me so I overstand the power words can have ."This is the result of me listening and taking action.
