After three of the singer’s former dancers filed a lawsuit against her for alleged sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment and discrimination, Lizzo has been called out for disrespectful behaviour by a documentary maker.
Sophia Nahli Allison, 36, tweeted on Tuesday she wanted to speak up against the 35-year-old singer as “validating other black women’s experiences is deeply important” to her in the, who are suing her for alleged sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment and discrimination.
The director said reading the lawsuit filed by Lizzo’s ex-dancers Arianna Davis, Noelle Rodriguez and Crystal Williams made her realise how “dangerous of a situation” her own experience was. The trio claim while on a concert trip with the Grammy Award-winning artiste to Amsterdam in February 2023, Lizzo invited them for a night out on the town that ended in the city’s Red Light District.
