Liz Truss has reportedly blocked the new King from appearing at the COP27 climate conference in Egypt next month
.
It is said the choice to stop the King attending the meeting was due to Government advice, although Charles will find other means to support the event. He said the decision that the King should not attend the international gathering in Egypt had been taken "consensually" between the Government and the Palace.
