Liverpool enjoyed a successful America stretch of the pre-season tour with Mohamed Salah setting the standard
Mohamed Salah has thanked the United States after Liverpool ended their pre-season tour with a 3-0 win over Manchester United. The Reds overcame Real Betis and Arsenal before downing the Red Devils in North Carolina to cap a successful trip to the continent under new head coach Arne Slot.
In recent seasons, the former Chelsea and AS Roma forward has been the topic of interest, namely from Saudi Arabia after Al-Ittihad's approach last summer. However, the 32-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down as he destroyed Sepp van den Berg in the early fitness tests. Salah has looked in fine fettle against Betis and Liverpool's two Premier League rivals.
