David Woodfine is returning to Liverpool as assistant sporting director to Richard Hughes
Liverpool are set to appoint David Woodfine as assistant sporting director to Richard Hughes , as he returns to Anfield less than a year after leaving the club.
But after a break from football, Woodfine is now returning to Anfield with the ECHO understanding that he was keen to be part of the football executive team behind the scenes that is continuing to be put together for the post-Jurgen Klopp era.
