Tyler Morton joined Hull City on a year-long loan deal from Liverpool earlier this summer
Hull City head coach Liam Rosenior beamed about Tyler Morton after the midfielder provided an assist in his first appearance since signing on loan from Liverpool.
Last season he spent time at Blackburn Rovers, making 46 appearances in total. During that time he signed a new long-term contract at Anfield before unfortunately ending the year prematurely with foot fracture. In his first action of the new season, Morton came off the bench in the 59th minute of his loan club's recent second-tier clash with Coventry City - eventually providing the assist for striker Aaron Connolly to level the score at 1-1 three minutes before full-time.
"He showed so many touches of class, so many touches of quality, he kept us on the ball was brave and he showed exactly why we worked so hard to bring him to the club. That 30-minute performance showed exactly why we waited so long to bring him in."
