Brighton are yet to receive contact from Liverpool over the possible signing of Alexis Mac Allister, talkSPORT understands.Mac Allister recently scored a stoppage time winner against Manchester UnitedMac Allister has been an integral part of Brighton’s unlikely European charge and starred for Argentina in their 2022 World Cup triumph.
But, despite speculation, Liverpool have not entered talks to sign the the 24-year-old and there is no agreement in place. Brighton and Liverpool both have slim hopes of a top-four finish and Mac Allister is focussed on finishing the season strongly with the Seagulls.The Argentine, who joined the south-coast side in 2019, signed a new contract until 2025 earlier this campaign.
Reports have suggested the deal contains a release clause and Brighton want £70million for their World Cup-winning star.
