LIVE | Zondo believes he'll 'work very well' with all JSC members as chief justice
Zondo says he was told by President Cyril Ramaphosa that he had been appointed, during an afternoon meeting.Asked about the impact that legal challenges the Zondo Inquiry report will have on his tenure as Chief Justice, Zondo responds that this"won't at all interfere" with his Chief Justice duties.
He's also asked about the fact that his report is being challenged by multiple people, including Minister Gwede Mantashe. In an exclusive interview with News24, Zondo said he was deeply humbled by his appointment and looked forward to working alongside SCA President Mandisa Maya as his nominated deputy.
