Northern Ireland has been hit by heavy rain overnight causing some disruption on the roads around the country.

Cloudy skies will prevail throughout the day, accompanied by outbreaks of rain, which could be heavy and persistent at times.The east is in for a somewhat gloomy day. However, in the west, things are looking up.
