Journalists on the scene have had to wear masks to protect their lungs from gas which hangs thick in the air. The buildings have not yet been evacuated, but the City is still conducting an occupancy requirement assessment.Tshwaku has a background in engineering and said authorities were looking at the utility drawings under the blast site, which will help them map out where the cables, sewage lines, gas lines, and water lines are before they excavate on Thursday.
