Opposition leader and Workers’ Party chief Pritam Singh faces two charges of lying to a parliamentary committee in 2021. Follow ST’s live coverage.
Among the witnesses expected to take the stand is former Workers’ Party volunteer Yudhishthra Nathan, 29, one of two aides closely linked to former MP Raeesah Khan.Mr Nathan and Ms Loh Peiying had testified before the Committee of Privileges during the December 2021 probe into Ms Khan’s conduct.
Mr Nathan, who had volunteered with the WP since 2013, joined the party in 2016 and later became a council member of the WP youth wing. Ms Loh, who was Ms Khan’s former secretarial assistant, had earlier served as secretarial assistant to WP chief Pritam Singh from March 2013 to January 2016.
