Valerie Vaz, Labour's shadow leader of the House of Commons, asks whether Boris Johnson's new Downing Street adviser Dominic Cummings will receive a parliamentary pass. Lib Dem leader Jo Swinson has tabled an early day motion expressing no confidence in Boris Johnson, which has been signed by her party colleagues.
The prime minister is understood to be approving the proposal with his cabinet at their inaugural meeting this morning.
