Iswaran, who was transport minister and minister-in-charge of trade relations, had been actively involved in the government’s engagements with F1.The allegations against Iswaran became clear in January 2024 when he received 27 charges relating to his interactions with Mr Ong. He is accused of corruptly receiving flights, hotel stays and tickets to events in exchange for advancing the business interests of Mr Ong.
