Cape Town - The ministers serving on the National Coronavirus Command Council are briefing the media on the regulations relating to Covid-19 level 2 restrictions on Monday.

Writing in his weekly newsletter on Monday, the president said the move would come as a relief to all South Africans who have had to live under stringent restrictions for the last five months. "At more than half a million confirmed cases, we still have the fifth highest number of infections in the world. And there is always a chance of a resurgence of the disease," he added.
