COVID-19 | 339 new cases bring the total infections to 2 923 393. There have been 44 new fatalities in the past 24 hours. The death toll is now 89 295

Phaahla said that the government’s target is to achieve 70% Covid-19 vaccination coverage among the South African adult population, while the priority is people aged 50 years and older. He is confident that by mid-November 2021, at least 40% of adults will have received at least one dose.
