A member of Wagner pays tribute to Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin, two of the most senior leaders of the private mercenary group, whose names were on the list of passengers of a plane that crashed near the village of Kuzhenkino in the Tver region on Wednesday. Ihor Klymenko gave no reasons for Kruk's dismissal, but said it followed an internal check of the service and that Kruk's deputy would serve as its acting head.US President Joe Biden has spoken by phone with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during which he reiterated his country’s commitment to supporting Ukraine's defence against Russian aggression.
