King Charles II will meet with both Houses of Parliament today before attending to the late Queen's coffin in Scotland
Around 900 MPs and peers will meet with the King at Westminster Hall to offer their condolences on his mother's death. Following this, he will travel to Edinburgh where the Queen's coffin is currently resting after journeying from Balmoral yesterday. During his trip to Scotland, there will be a procession along the Royal Mile to St Giles' Cathedral with His Majesty leading members of the Royal Family as they walk behind the late Queen's coffin. Once at the cathedral, the members of the Royal Family will be joined by a congregation to attend a service of thanksgiving for her life.
