Deemed a significant move by Liquid Uganda, the launch of a Microsoft Azure stack will assist plan to connect 90 percent of households.
It will also help in reaching a goal of connecting 90 percent of Ugandan households to the internet by 2040. has announced an impending milestone for the East African nation of Uganda, with the digital infrastructure provider set to launch its first Microsoft Azure stack in Uganda.
“By investing in the first Azure Stack hub in Uganda, Liquid is not only demonstrating its commitment to the country’s digital transformation but also actively supporting the Uganda Digital Transformation Roadmap,” it explained in a release sent to Hypertext., with it setting out among other goals, the target of connecting 90 percent of Ugandan households to the internet by 2040.
Moving forward, the organisation said it plans to empower its existing customers with a highly secure cloud solution, along with offering reduced latency, and enable real-time business continuity via flexible adoption models.
