The player transfer merry-go-round between the Sharks and Lions continued as Marius Louw reportedly put pen to paper on a move to Johannesburg next season.
, Louw will join the Lions from the Sharks at the end of the current Vodacom United Rugby Championship season.
The 26-year-old inside centre will become the fourth player to move between the two clubs in quick succession, joining former Sharks teammate and scrumhalf Sanele Nohamba at Ellis Park. The Sharks, meanwhile, recently announced the signings of flank Vincent Tshituka and tighthead prop Carlu Sadie from the Lions for next season.
Louw has started 11 of 17 URC games this season, scoring two tries, but could find regular starting time for difficult next season after the Sharks signed Springbok centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg from English club Sale Sharks. At the Lions, Louw will fill the void vacated by Burger Odendaal, who will be moving to English side Wasps at the end of the season.
