Gibbs was awed by the tempo at which the 2009 series was played, especially the second Test in Pretoria, which he believes has rightly been described as one of the greatest Tests ever played. The British and Irish Lions in SA will be an eight-occasion rugby extravaganza in 2021 and one of global sport’s most watched events.
