It was a disappointing night for the Lions as they let a golden chance to get a big win over Munster in Ireland slip through their fingers, resulting in their second defeat of the season. Despite Henco van Wyk's wonderful solo try, the Lions fell short against Munster in a URC match at Thomond Park in Limerick. A poor second half performance led to a 17-10 loss for the Lions , who were ahead 10-7 at halftime due to a penalty by Kade Wolhuter.
