LION Electric unveiled a new garbage truck version of its all-electric Class 8 urban truck at the Michelin Movin’On sustainable mobility summit this week.

says should offer a range of up to 250 miles. Not bad for a vehicle with a curb weight of 24,600 pounds. The top speed is 65 miles per hour and the direct-drive’s powertrain’s maximum power output is 470 horsepower. The 350-kW electric motor produces 2,507 foot-pounds of torque.
