Linda Nolan said she doesn't know how long she has left but that she's 'not giving up' as she shared her cancer news on Good Morning Britain. The singer appeared on the ITV news programme on Monday after being seen in a wheelchair sparked concern.
Linda, who has sold more than 30 million records with her sisters in the hit band The Nolans, shared the sad news that she has been told her cancer has spread to her brain. Speaking to co-hosts Richard and Susanna live via video link, she said: "Unfortunately, sadly for me, my cancer has now spread to my brain, which I only found out on Monday."Linda was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2005 but got the all-clear in 2006.
"I’m positive, I’m not giving up," she said determinedly, adding that treatment means she's going to end up losing her hair for a fourth time. But she did laugh when she told how one of her sisters joked that she now has some 'nice wigs' following her previous cancer treatment. "It's a scary trip to be on," Linda admitted. "It's about making the most of every day and being positive. I've beaten it before so hopefully I can do it again."
