General practices in Lincolnshire have reported a significant increase in appointments over the past year, despite ongoing pressures.
It said the figures demonstrate the resilience of Lincolnshire's healthcare system in responding to the rising demand for primary care services.Concurrently, younger people are increasingly seeking medical help, a trend fuelled by online consultation tools, media campaigns, and health concerns exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Despite this, Lincolnshire’s practices have significantly increased the number of appointments they are providing and activity levels exceed national averages." In response to these challenges, the Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board has been working closely with GP practices, providing additional support to practices assessed as requiring improvement by the Care Quality Commission .
