Three men, including a Limpopo pig farmer, will face trial in August for the alleged murders of two women whose bodies were found in a pigsty. The incident took place at Onvervaght farm in Sebayeng, outside Polokwane, in August. Zackariah Olivier, Rudolph de Wet, and William Musoro, a Zimbabwean national, are accused of killing Maria Makgato and Lucia Ndlovu.

Three men accused of killing two women and discarding their bodies in a pigsty in Limpopo are set to face trial in August. Zackariah Olivier, a pig farmer from Limpopo , along with his co-accused Rudolph de Wet and Zimbabwean national William Musoro, appeared briefly in the Mankweng Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.

\They are facing charges of two counts of murder, attempted murder, defeating the administration of justice, possession of an unlicensed firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and illegal immigration, which applies specifically to Musoro. The state has completed its investigations and served the accused with an indictment. Their case has been postponed to August 4-15, 2025, for trial at the Polokwane High Court, according to Malabi Dzhangi. In December, Olivier, visibly shaken, shook his head when Magistrate Ntilane Felleng announced the postponement of his bail application, leading him to spend Christmas behind bars. \The trio will remain in custody until their trial in August. In October, defense attorney Muhammad Farouk Valjee, representing the second accused, stepped forward to offer legal aid to Musoro after his previous lawyer withdrew her services due to lacking an order for financial assistance. According to the state's case, Makgato and Ndlovu went to the farm to collect expired food that the pigs were consuming. Musora faces an additional charge under the Immigration Act due to his Zimbabwean nationality.
