If I thought the Conservatives were simply playing partisan political games on this, I’d call them out. Instead, I’ll warn them not to go down that road, not to push the stolen election narrative, which is what Trudeau is accusing them of doing.

Last fall, Global News reported on allegations of China attempting to interfere in the 2019 federal election. They stated that China’s consulate in Toronto funneled money, some $250,000, to 11 different candidate Beijing believed were friendly to them. Now, in the face of new allegations that China helped the Liberals win the last election, Trudeau has said in short order that there’s nothing to be concerned about, that he expects CSIS to track down the whistleblower leaking documents and to say that asking questions helps China undermine our democracy.
